Almost 5 months!!

Ty will be 5 months old this week! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone by; it seems just like yesterday that he arrived. Gary and I are having SO much fun with him, he is amazing. He has such a little personality and is such a happy baby!! He is always smiling. He now eats baby food and loves it! He smacks his lips after every bite. So far we have had applesauce, bananas, peaches, pears and sweet potatoes. He loves it all! Here are a few recent pics.

Happy Halloween

We had such a FUN weekend! On Friday night Gary decided he needed to carve a pumpkin for Ty. He did a great job for his first try; he made a mess....but the pumpkin looked great! On Saturday, the three of us went to lunch and watched football all afternoon in between taking a couple naps, it was so nice! I bought all this candy for our trick or treaters and we might have had 5 groups of kids, we didn't have many at all. So now we are left with all of this chocolate in the house! Ty didn't really get into Halloween this year, maybe next year. He was out for the count by 8pm!

3 Months and Growing Like Crazy!

Ty is 3 months! I can't believe it. He is such a good baby; always smiling and laughing! He is now rolling over; gone are the days of putting him somewhere and walking away for a minute. He rolls all over the place and LOVES to sleep on his tummy. As soon as I put him down for bed, he immediately rolls over. We haven't quite mastered sleeping through the night yet....but hopefully that will get better soon. Especially now that Mommy is back to work!

1 month old!

Ty is now 1 month old! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. He is growing up so fast!! I can't wait to see how much he weighs when I take him back to the doctor next week; he is at least 10 1/2 lbs by now! He is such a sweet baby, I love being home with him. I added some recent pictures to show how much he is growing!

Ty is here!

After months of waiting for his arrival, Ty is finally here!! After a long night of little or no sleep Ty was born on Friday morning, July 17th at 9:41am. He weighed 9lbs, 2oz and was 21 inches long. He is SO PERFECT! We are so in love with him and feel so blessed to have him in our lives. This has been the most exciting time for me, Gary and all of our family. My mom counted over 25 people in the room with us before I delivered! After getting back to my room after I delivered, all of the people were gone. When I asked the nurse where everyone was she said they are all standing in front of the nursery watching Ty get his first bath. I told her, "I forgot, it's not about me anymore!!". She just laughed. The nursery nurse said she thought we set a record for the number of faces peering through the nursery windows to see a newborn. He is a very special boy indeed!! Enjoy the pictures! Ty has had many baby showers so Mom and Dad are prepared for his arrival!! He has so many cute things! I posted a few pictures from the differnet showers. We can't wait for him to be here so he can wear all of these clothes! I think he has more clothes than we do.
